Bath Bombs

We were learning to make a bath bomb for Mother's Day with was good because then we didn't need to go shopping and it would mean they would get more for Mothers Day.

I found it easy to combined the two colours together. It was also very cool watching the colours merging together.

I found it hard to make the colours to come out so you can see them.

Next time I will make it with different colors and try it with different salts.

I haven't used my one yet but Ms bava tried her one and it started to fizz and the reason is bath bomb comes in contact with water, the baking soda and citric acid react to make carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an acid–base reaction, where baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate) is a weak base and citric acid is a weak acid.
